
Fire Basketball is partnering with athletes to grow to their NEXT LEVEL on and off the court through our development, local, regional, and national teams.

Fall Teams
Our Fall teams are for boys in grades 3-12 and will begin practice in late August. Games start in September.
We have teams of various levels of competition and strive to put each player in position to be challenged and grow with and against players of similar skill and experience.
Our Local Teams (fall) are open to all skill and experience levels. Our Competitive Teams (fall) are by invitation (through tryout) only.
The cost and structure of each is as follows:
Local Team
Cost $100*
*IF you need a Fire jersey, there will be a separate, additional $15 cost.
These teams for players entering grades 3-12**, will practice once per week beginning in late August and play two games per week (Saturdays) in September in Avon at our Fire facilities. We will compete against both other Fire teams and teams from other clubs around Central Indiana. The goal of these teams is to give players real basketball games in a fun, family friendly environment. Games will follow IHSAA rules and be four quarters with clock stoppages, officiated by licensed officials.
**Players in high school will be limited to 3 per team from any one school per IHSAA eligibility rules
Competitive Teams (Fall)
Cost $135* (INVITATION/TRYOUT ONLY)
*IF you need a Fire jersey, there will be a separate, additional $15 cost.
These teams for players entering grades 7-12** will practice once per week beginning in late August and play two games per week (Sundays) in September (7, 14, 21, & 28) in Westfield at Pacers Athletic Center. We will compete against higher level teams from across Indiana. The goal of these teams is to give players that will be on their school teams high level, competitive reps as they get ready for their school tryouts and season.
These are high level (“A”, JV, and Varsity) teams.
First practices/evaluations to form teams will be held at our facility inside The Journey Church (5250 E US 36, Avon) as follows:
Class of 2030 (Current 8th grade)- Wednesday, August 20 @ 6:30 PM
Class of 2029 (Current 9th grade)- Saturday, August 23 @ 10:30 AM
Class of 2028 (Current 10th grade)- Saturday, August 23 @ 10:30 AM
Class of 2027 (Current 11th grade)- Saturday, August 23 @ 9 AM
Class of 2026 (Current 12th grade)- Saturday, August 23 @ 9 AM
Teams will be finalized and official team practices will begin the week of August 25. We will play two games each weekend in September and October (Sunday afternoon/evening).

Spring/Summer Teams
Registration for Spring/Summer Teams is CLOSED. Please check back later in the fall for registration details.
Local tournament Teams
($600 for the season) $125 deposit (plus processing) and balance of $475 (plus processing) (or 4 month payment plan) done by March 15.
The focus of growth for our Local Tournament Teams is on utilizing individual skill within the team concept and raising I.Q. to adjust in game based on what opponents are giving/taking away.
- These teams will practice one (game weeks) to two (bye weeks) times per week, and compete in 8 local, 2-day, bracketed tournaments over the spring/summer. Tournaments are in April, May, June, and July.
Regional Tournament Teams
($600 for the season) $125 deposit (plus processing) and balance of $475 (plus processing) (or 4 month payment plan) done by March 15
The focus of growth for our Regional Tournament Teams is preparing athletes to compete at the varsity and collegiate levels. These teams will also be a proving ground for future Fire NXTPro National Team players.
- These teams will practice one (game weeks) to two (bye weeks) times per week, and compete in 5-6 local, 2-day, high-level, bracketed tournaments, and 2-3 out of town (MI, OH, KY) 2-3 day bracketed tournaments over the spring/summer. Tournaments are in April, May, June, and July.
development Teams
($500 for the season) $125 deposit (plus processing) and balance of $375 (plus processing) (or 4 month payment plan) done by March 15
The focus of growth for our Development Teams is on fundamentals and developing an understanding of floor spacing, cuts, screens, base defenses (man, zone, full and half-court press), etc.
- These teams will practice one (game weeks) to two (bye weeks) times per week, play a local league (2 games every other week March 30-August 11), and compete in 4 local, 2-day, bracketed tournaments over the summer. These teams are designed to help players prepare to play on a tournament team in the future.
